EMOJI PROJECTS!
Dear Bretonians, we've finally got the results of your work ....COMPUTING AND ENGLISH PROJECT
These were the GUIDELINES FOR YOUR PROJECT:
- Make a two-student group
- Create a three- minute presentation
- Relate a whole story just using emoticons: A story, a song, a fairytale, a news report, a biography, an invention, the school, anything you consider "emojitold";
- You can record your presentation using the whiteboard in your Computer Lab; we think creating a video would make you feel more confident when telling the story.
- Make sure audio controls work properly.
- If you consider using another system will work, let us know!
- Intonation will be very important!
- Further details will be provided by María Vaquero

ENDANGERED SPECIES
UNIT 6 PROJECT:
Hi dear Bretonians! Today, many of us are aware that certain animals are endangered species; extinction is the complete disappearance of these species from Earth; animals and plants that are at risk of becoming extinct because of threats from changing environments or predators, are considered threatened or endangered. Human populations and activities will continue to grow and will threaten the Earth's habitat and capacity to sustain life.
These are your guidelines:
- Two-student group
- Select an endangered or extinct animal to research from the video above
- Create a Prezi.......Power Point presentation.....movie....about the selected species
- Where does it live? What does it eat?
- What are the primary ways in which these species are endangered? (Habitat destruction, garbage, hunting, fishing, killing the food supply, global warming, etc...?)
- Are they caused by human activities?
- Propose ways that the animal can be helped
- What does this mean for the future of our planet and the future generations?
- What kind of people , institutions, groups do you know that are helping to protect them today?
- Do you think that protecting endangered species is worth doing?
- Present your project to the classroom
- Creativity, message, layout, content and impact will be assessed
- DEADLINE: End of April
ENJOY!!
